From Students with Love: Thanksgiving Gratitude Overflowing for Our Support Stars
As part of our community service initiative the school has been organizing a thanks giving day where our students collectively donate gifts for the support staff of the school. A Visit to Old age Home- ‘GODHULI’
“To make an elderly person happy is the noblest act a young person can ever do!”, and this is what our student did. Twenty four students of class VI – B visited an old age home located in Sector-2, Dwarka, on 29 November 2019. The purpose of the visit was to sensitize the youth of today and infuse in them the values of empathy and compassion.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Birth Anniversary: A Joyous Celebration of Oneness
To mark the birth anniversary of 𝗚𝘂𝗿𝘂 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗸 𝗗𝗲𝘃 𝗷𝗶, 𝗚.𝗗. 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗸𝗮 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗗𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮 organized a Community Lunch (Langar) programme .The event aimed at inculcating a trait of selfless service among the student community and to develop a respect for all beliefs and faiths in society.
All the students and members of staff participated with great zeal and reverence in this 𝗦𝗘𝗪𝗔 / 𝗦𝗛𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗗𝗔𝗔𝗡 programme and not only relished the sumptuous meal but also served others with love and veneration.
Rejuvenate and Recharge: Yoga Bliss for Our School’s Unsung Heroes
As part of our Adult Education initiative the school organized a yoga session for the school’s support staff on 23rd November, Saturday. The session was conducted by Mr. Devender Singh, Yogacharya. The session aimed at providing holistic development. Our support staff was taught yog asanas including Pranayam which focused on breathing exercises. During the session the staff was provided with tips on handling and managing stress. The workshop was highly appreciated.
Team Goenka: Creating Ripples of Awareness
October 22, 2019 –The students of G.D.Goenka Public School, Dwarka, created ripples of awareness by putting up street play in various busy markets of Dwarka, thus urging people to give up crackers this Diwali in lieu of clean and healthy air.

Donations to help the affected ones in Kerala, to rebuild their lives.
Relief material, accumulated as a result of generous contribution from the students, was packed and sent to the collection center of Uday Foundation.

Twenty three students of class VIII A visited an old age home ‘Godhuli’ located in Sector 2, Dwarka on 31st August 2018.
Students presented a vivid cultural programme to make the senior citizens smile.
